A Mexican-inspired spicy kick to replace your blood sugar!

1 small cooked sweet potato, peeled and diced
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
50g cocoa nibs OR very dark chocolate, chopped
1 small red chilli, chopped
1 tablespoon cooked apple OR your favourite sweetener to taste
A few drops vanilla essence
2 tbsp Greek yoghurt
Pinch of Maldon sea salt
Water
Ice

  1. Put all dry ingredients, vanilla and ice in a liquidiser
  2. Turn on power (make sure the lid is on!) and add water until a smooth creamy consistency is reached
  3. Enjoy!

The spiciness of this smoothie will develop over time; if you find it has too much of a kick for your taste, add some more yoghurt to cool it down again.
